Amazing Technological Advances

iPod Shuffle and Mac Mini!!!

Ok, so I bet some of you were wondering why I hadn't spoken up about the new Apple products that were recently announced. Well I just haven't had the time, AND I wanted to make sure I knew enough before I said anything.

Now I do.

First off, for those that don't know there was a big conference in San Francisco this past week called Mac World. As you can guess it is a big show all about Apple products. It is a huge deal in the Mac community because Steve Jobs (head of Apple) always makes some major product announcements during his keynote speech.

This year the big two were the iPod Shuffle and the Mac Mini. The iPod shuffle is the tiniest iPod yet (about the size of a pack of gum). It can hold up to 240 songs and has a battery life of 12 hours. It has no screen, but does have a very simple to use interface to move between songs, change volume, shuffle, etc. It is an amazing product, and it starts at $99! Or you could try to get one free.

The other product is the Mac Mini. The Mac Mini is the new low-price Macintosh computer (starting at $499). Or of course you can try to get one free. It has the same quality as other Macs, and the same technology, but it is less expandable and doesn't come with a keyboard, mouse, or monitor. Now of course if you don't have a computer right now, this Mini isn't a good first choice. But if you have a lame PC already, you can buy a Mac Mini and use your old keyboard, mouse, and monitor from you PC and hook them up to your new best friend the Mini. It is also an amazingly tiny computer, 2 inches tall and 6.5 inches square. No more big bulky computer under your desk with the Mac Mini.

So if you've been waiting to get on the Apple bandwagon now is a great time to join in. Two inexpensive, but high quality, products that will make your life not only more stylish, but easier. I promise.
