Every once and awhile I see something about the upcoming election (I know, right?). What seems to go unsaid is the potential catastrophe of electronic voting. Take it from someone who works with technology, it is not the way to run a successful election.
This Ars Technica article highlights a new bill in congress that will make it easier for states that don't blindly trust the magical voting computers. I'm all for it.

According to the PDF in the second article, the most popular voting machine is using Win-doze! (Windows CE 3.0) That alone should be enough to keep us awake at night!
