With all the other stuff that's been going on I forgot to mention it, but my friends, Eric and Lauren, are engaged.
They are looking to get married in September 2006 in Cleveland. I can't wait, it should be a rockin' good time.
I wish them all the best, and I will say that they got off to a good start. Eric told me all about how he popped the question, and it was a good story. He definitely did it up right!! Romance, flowers, John Mellencamp. It had everything.
So good luck to them, and I can't wait to see them and congratulate them in person. Of course they might be married by the time I get to do it. We'll see...

All I can say is that it is about time Eric. And that it is exciting news and congratulations. Now, will your mother and I get to dance at your wedding as we did at Lew and Betsy's?
